The 15th International Symposium on Ecohydraulics and Fish Passage (ISE 2024), will take place in Quebec City, Canada from May 5th - 9th 2024. It will be held at Hotel le Concorde Quebec. This joint event is intended to promote discussions about research and management of aquatic ecosystems and how climate change impacts their connectivity and processes. Abstracts are expected from around the globe for a scientific program that focuses on interdisciplinary applications and research, including hydrology, ecology, and modeling of hydraulics. We want to create a forum for researchers and practitioners to share ideas and to present the latest scientific advances in ecohydraulics, including stream restoration, fish bioengineering and ecohydraulics models.
The conference will result in special issues in peer reviewed journals (e.g. Canadian Water Resources Journal Special Issue on Advances in Ecohydraulics or Journal of Ecohydraulics). The program will include keynote speakers.
On Sunday, the conference will begin with a series of workshops focusing on ecohydraulics or fish passage. There will also be an EcoNet workshop for students and young professionals. The conference offers the chance to enjoy Quebec's natural beauty while participating in half-day technical tours.
